'Umi is the Hawaiian word for the number ten and this year we will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of AstroDay.

Once again Na Makua has created a distinctive design for the event. Taking it back to the first Hawaiian voyagers who used the heavens as their guide, this year's design honors these early voyagers.

• Telescope Giveaways - We will be giving away over a dozen telescopes at center court throughout the day. Just enter to win at the AstroDay Institute booth outside of Radio Shack

• Mauna Kea Coin Contest - Winners of the MK coin contest will be honored on stage at center court at the beginning of the event.

• Mauna Kea coin stamp rally - Attendees who get their rally cards stamped by participating exhibitors can get a free Mauna Kea coin. Rally cards and a list of participating exhibitors can be obtained from the Mauna Kea coin booth at center court near Radio Shack.
